BBB Names Most Inquired and Complained About Industries

  Nearly 700,000 requests for information and assistance were received by your BBB in 2014.  BBB helps consumers find businesses they can trust by providing free BBB Business Reviews at bbb.org.  Each business review provides the business’ BBB rating, accreditation information, business history, consumer complaints, customer reviews and more.

  Consumers requested BBB;s help 2.721 times to resolve a marketplace issue with a business.  Complaints can be filed against accredited and non-accredited businesses alike.  In an attempt to resolve disputes between consumers and businesses, on average 72% of complaints were closed with a satisfaction rate.  Complaints filed against BBB accredited businesses had a 99% satisfaction rate.  As an accredited business you promise to uphold BBB;s standards for trust including the ability to address marketplace uses quickly, professionally and in good faith.
